Danmarks Største Fredagsbar & Idrætsdag (Denmarks biggest Friday bar and sports day) is for all students in Aarhus, no matter the nationality. Therefore, we are excited to welcome you on the 12th of September to one of Denmarks biggest student event for students organized by students.

What is DSFI?

Danmarks Største Fredagsbar & Idrætsdag (DSFI) is held every year in September. This year it will be held on the 12th of September. The event brings students across the field of studies together for sports events and fun activities. The university park will be filled with more than 11.000 people.

In the morning there will be a lot of different sports tournaments. In the afternoon, we light up the always popular beer bowling along with other fun activities, where good physics is not a must. During the day the park will slowly transform to become Denmarks’ biggest Friday Bar with a great line up of performers.

The event cost 100 DKK, and 125 DKK if you also wish to participate in the sports activities. Buy your ticket HERE

VOLUNTEER

What can I do as a volunteer?

Your primary task would be to help out in the bar and serve drinks! There is absolutely no requirements of prior experience with tending bars; we only ask that you have an open mind and a smile on your face. Then we’re certain that everything else will fall into place.

Besides tending the bar, we’re also looking to recruit volunteers to help out set up the fence, that will be surrounding the venue. This would not be during the day of the event, but from the 8^th to 10^thof September.

Do I have to work all day?

Don’t you worry. All shifts lasts 4 hours, but if you want to take on more hours, you’re more than welcome to do that. Also, if you want to work along with a friend or some of your fellow peers, don’t hesitate to say so; then we’ll do our best to make sure that you’ll both have the same tasks in the same location.

Am I even qualified for the job?

Absolutely. We accept anyone who is willing to help out and make the event a great day for all the participants, as well as for the volunteers.

SPORTS

The event starts of with different sport tournaments during the day. This year we have tournaments within seven different sports; soccer, basketball, volleyball, ultimate frisbee, handball, floorball and spikeball.

In order to compete in a tournament you have to sign up with a team. Sign up will be available soon

MUSIC

We are excited to present a great mix of music genres and styles performed on the two stages at Danmarks Største.

GOOD TO KNOW

We certainly don’t want you to get dehydrated or hungry, so this year we have stacked up on our bars and brought in extra food trucks to serve your needs. The food trucks and bars have student-friendly prices. Please notice that cash and brought drinks are not accepted, so please remember your credit cards and leave your own beer at home.
